Crystal Clear Vision
Welders who have prescription glasses struggle to wear their glasses under the welding helmet.
With the Magnifying Lenses, you would be rid of this problem! These lenses give you clear vision similar to how prescription glasses do.
Simply slide the magnifying lens to the inside of the welding helmet, beneath the clear transparent cover and you're good to start welding!
Choose From 8 Magnifying Power
These magnifying lenses range from 1.0 to 3.0 magnification. Simply choose the one that matches your usual eye prescription.
these magnifying lenses fit perfectly in my Jackson helmet. no more readers.
Now I know, what you mean when you say "Weld puddle". I watched a tig welding video and the guy said "If you can't see the weld puddle, you're doomed". Being doomed, I decided to join one of these cheaters with a quality, 4C welding helmet, and now I can clearly see the weld puddle. Wow, my welding quality instantly improved, and my frustration level instantly decreased. Mine are the 3.00 diopter. I'll probably give the 2.00 version a try too. These are made of glass, so they are kinda heavy, but I'll deal with that.
First words of advice given to any new welder: In order to weld something, you have to see what you're welding!
These lenses are great. They're made of glass (won't scratch), are easy to clean, and fit in standard size welding helmets.
I use these for TIG welding thin chrome-moly tubing and sheet, and my success has improved dramatically since I started using these lenses.
Bought these cheater lenses because wearing reader glasses underneath my welding helmet wasn’t working so well, especially in hot weather.
Solid Lens! Gave me better welds because I could see the puddles much better. Highly recommend this product to anyone.
